Randolph Dog (SASS Life 5889) aka. Don Alan Fraley was born August 30, 1952 in Sparta, IL. In his other life he was a lineman for Illinois Power, working out of Sparta for 25 years, but his cowboy friends knew him as Randolph Dog.SASS Life member, past Territorial Governor of the Nason Mining Company Regulators, past Territorial Governor of the Effingham Sportsman Club Cowboy Action Shooters, NRA Life member, and member of the Mississippi Valley Gun Club. He was a past Boy Scout Leader and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Chester, IL. He resided on the outskirts of Chester with his wife of 30 years, Pam and their son, Ryan.Before becoming involved in CAS, Dog was an avid historical reenactor and attended many encampments and Rendevous' from the French & Indian War period to the Fur Trade Era. He was an excellent woodsman and hunter.Randolph Dog was an inspiration and mentor to many of the Cowboy Action Shooters in the Midwest. He was dignified and a friend to everyone. He touched many lives and will be missed by all. |
